g'day from berry

Hey everyone hope you're having fun without us year nines and if you want to know how we are going I guess I should tell you.
We are up to day 12 in our long tour and it has been a jammed packed few days. Since the last blog from Wilcannia we have had quite a bit of fun. After leaving Wilcannia we drove around 150km to White Cliffs where we met 2 legends Bill and Jock. Bill showed us around the first steam solar powered small town (a.k.a White Cliffs) before taking us to a dugout owned by a funny fella Jock. Even though he lived on his own he was abnormally happy. After seeing around his dugout/home, Bill took us up to the couple of mines he owned a few km away. Following that he took us back to town and told us a story about his hat and a goanna taking a chunk while he was checking his air compressor. Just before leaving White Cliffs we filled our water bottles with pure rain water and went to a milk bar where I spent my last 10 bucks :(. Around 70km out from White Cliffs our bus started to play up forcing us to stop and figure out what was wrong with holding us up for about 3-4 hours. We got moving again around 10:30pm which made us late getting into Mutawintji around 12:00 or so. After going straight to bed that night we all got moving the next day around 10:30am the next morning since we all just didn't want to do anything (and it was a rest day so what do you expect :P) . We got a tour from a funny young man Tony that day as well but just before getting it we went for a jog (most walked) to what we thought to be a spectacular gorge but what turned out to be a green gorge filled with dead animals. On the tour Tony showed us around the old sacred aboriginal sites around Mutawintji. We had a rather early night that night we were all quite dead still, and knowing we had to be up early the next morning. We all woke up and got moving pretty much straight away after skidz decided to wake us up. We hurried the pack up which turned out to be probably the best pack up yet. We hit the road fair early and we were all thinking we were going to have a sick day. Not even half an hour down the road and Rees using his pro as bus skills decided to get us bogged. After about 20minutes of trying to get the bus out and about 20 minutes of burning up the back wheels we got it out and were back on the open desert road. We stopped in broken hill where nearly everyone stopped and bought quite a few things and befriended the bus diver. We then stopped for coffee at a road house and again at Wentworth. We reached swan hill bout 6:50pm which was good because we got to meet all the cornerstone chaps. We then just chilled for the rest of the day. Anyway that's enough from me can't believe its only 3 days till we go home :( . good bye all!!!
