schultink's perspective...

Long tour so far has been an awesome experience. We love how it’s so laid back and how our choices are accepted. The coolest parts have been…
• going to the op shop
• hiking through the desert
• swimming in the Murray
• the warm weather
• going to Silverton
• going to church
• playing in the Broken Hill parks
• Bus trips!
• chilling out
• going to the pool
• mucking around
• quiet times
• The barbecue with a couple from church.

We would all love to say hi to our families because they rock! We have also just loved being in nature because God rocks and his creation does too.
Year 9 long tour has brought us together as a group and has shown us different sides of people which we haven’t seen before.
We, the year 9 class thank Kylie and Mr. Rees for putting together this camp so that we could have experiences that some might not have had the chance to do.
Our community has been bonded together even stronger then ever, with people talking over things and having D&M’s (deep and meaningfuls)

Today (Thursday 5th) we were about to leave for Wilcannia from Broken Hill and Kylie was talking on the phone. All of a sudden, she pointed to the front right tyre. “We’ve got a flat!” So we spent the rest of the arvo playing soccer and playing in the park and talking about our day. We discovered that the spare was flat as well, with a decent puncture. We had a barbecue dinner at 8:15pm, and ended up in this house which belongs to Cornerstone, for the night. (A guy named Mark, from Cornerstone, who took us on desert camp, took us here in his 12 seater mini bus.) We’re gonna go to Wilcannia tomorrow. It’s 11:20pm

Goodbye, Goodnight and lots of happy faces from everyone. 

Ps. Kylie absolutely hates the word moist. Never say it to her or you might get us in trouble and we’d have to redo yr9. (Hey, that could be fun!!)
