Hey friends and folkylords!
We the year 9 autumn Cohort are loving and embracing changes and the situations (flat tyre). So the journey so far has been really swell. We have all bonded so well over the start of the camp. It is now night on day 6. A highlight from this has been Lipton ice tea (or mainly an obsession for some), without the tea, the life and duration of this camp may or may not be of existence. Also another highlight has been that everyone enjoys having so much fun!! Kylie and Rees amazingly are still alive (they are on the roids).
The laughs and jokes are very fun but the quiet times spent alone were where the group has really developed strength and renewing for God. These quiet times consisted of waking up and reading a chapter in Mark after this we would answer questions about the topic and through this it helped us draw close. Another reason why this has been so effective is that we realise that we are alone in the bush and away from distractions (other than the sleepy people)
Hey to all the folks and families back home we hope that you are enjoying yourself as much as we are. We encourage you to pray for us and for the safety of the group and the vehicles we travel in.
We are soon to depart to our new destination, Wilcannia. We plan to serve the community at the aboriginal drop in center and befriend the community. We’re all really stoked and can’t wait to hit the road.
As the night grows long the mind wanders, sleep is sounding boring - might hit some more ice tea (….crave…..) and dream about what foolish adventures lie ahead, poor Skidz and Rees. So goodnight fellow parentals and to all a good night.
Plumnugget
